However, as they are rescued from mud and insects, I can feel guiltless for picking flowers from the garden for once and just wallow in their sweet scent filling the room.
An occasional journal of jottings about my wee (very, very tiny) patio garden in Edinburgh.
I do not pretend this garden is particularly special -I'm not a plants(wo)man and I go for colour. It's quite scruffy, slug-ridden and has all the faults of an enclosed urban plot, overshadowed by neighbours' trees, a microclimate harbouring pests but it brings me joy.
