A solution to the shady main garden - white lilies in pots that can be movedthere when the burning noon sun gets too much for them. (I give them morning sun in the patio half so they don't mope.)
An occasional journal of jottings about my wee (very, very tiny) patio garden in Edinburgh.
I do not pretend this garden is particularly special -I'm not a plants(wo)man and I go for colour. It's quite scruffy, slug-ridden and has all the faults of an enclosed urban plot, overshadowed by neighbours' trees, a microclimate harbouring pests but it brings me joy. If you have a similar garden I hope you will enjoy this blog.
If you like my 'State of the Garden' blog, check out 'Other People's Gardens' . Since my own garden is so small, I have to get my kicks roaming around other people's gardens, stately homes, public gardens, wild spaces etc. http://stephaniegreensotherpeoplesgardens.blogspot.com/
